All in all it was mostly a breeze hooking it up and the instructions while simple take a bit of common sense to understand. The entire bike ends up being run off the stock 30 amp breaker, all fuses are deleted so keep a spare breaker on hand. You can't go cutting things ***** nilly because you must keep the entire charging system circuit to the main breaker intact as it will be the only part of the original harness reused. While I was in there I put new oil lines on cuz why not lol if you are somewhat inexperienced take your time and triple check everything. It's much easier to remove your exhaust, oil tank and battery tray to access everything.
2001 SPORTSTER CHOPPER INSTALL
It only took another day to install due to the extent of my disassembly. It took me a day to strip down my bike and remove the stock harness without cutting it all apart so I could sell it. It is best used for custom motorcycles where you want to eliminate all wiring other than what is required to make the bike run and have headlight, running and tail lights. It also does not have wiring for running a speedometer or warning lights. This kit does not have any wiring for the stock turn signal module or turn signals.
